Barcelona / May 2015

We spent 4 days in Barcelona, however my lens broke and managed to take just a few pictures below:

I love Barcelona and will come back there. We booked a ticket to Sagrada Familia online a month before a trip.

Limassol, Cyprus / September 2017

Historic Limassol

This colourful harbour town is Cyprus’s second-largest city, but at its historic heart it is a kaleidoscope of architecture, packed with reminders of the island’s chequered and multicultural past, from the Crusaders through to Venetian and Ottoman eras, to the present day. Around Limassol’s medieval core the streets are lively and bustling and authentically Cypriot in character. The best way to explore the city is on foot, and there are plenty of tranquil corners, including the lovely Municipal Gardens.

Larnaca: Castle and St Lazarus Church, Cyprus/ September 2017

Larnaca is a city on the southern coast of Cyprus. It is the third largest city in the country, after Nicosia and Limassol. Larnaca is known for the Church of Saint Lazarus and its medieval fort. There is also he Hala Sultan Tekke which we did not go to and the Kamares Aqueduct that we passed. The day was full of attractions as we were heading to Agia Napa and Nicosia the same day !

Audley End House and area

Saffron Walden is a small town located in Essex. Actually it is in boarder of three counties: Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. It is well known for market and medieval buildings. This wealthy area just 40mins away from London is rich in colorful historic buildings and victorian gardens.

Audley End House is the largest 17th century country house just outside Saffron Walden. In summer, there are shows of horse driving and riding in traditional victorian style 🙂  Audley End House – English Heritage.

In winter, you can always enjoy my winter landscapes of this place.

Littlebury, on the other hand is a small village between these two places. It has no shop, but one pub – at least xd And the buildings are small and cute 🙂

Post dedicated to Crimson April for lovely comment and appreciation 😉

I used graduated filter and then edited all the photos in Photoshop Lightroom 6.

Bolton Abbey / March 2014

Bolton Abbey is an estate in Wharfdale in North Yorkshire. It takes its name from the ruins of Augustinian monastery from 12th century.

There are many foopaths and it is up to you if you want to walk 10 miles or just 1 mile to go around the monastery.

We went a few miles along the river, via forests and meadows.

Lovely place for day out.
