Castle Książ / August 2014

Książ is a castle in Wałbrzych in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. It was built in 1288-1292 under Bolko I the Strict. It lies within a protected area called Książ Landscape Park, overlooks the Pełcznica River and is one of the city’s main tourist attractions. (Wikipedia)

The day we went to visit that place was so foggy, that we hardly could see anything 😛

Just another 2000m further there is  Botanical Garden in Wałbrzych – where you can admire many exotic plants and flowers.

Knaresborough and Mother Shipton’s Cave / Spring 2014

Mother Shipton’s Cave (or “Old Mother Shipton’s Cave”) is at Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, England, near to the River Nidd. Nearby is a petrifying well which is the oldest entrance charging tourist attraction in England, open since 1630. It is associated with the legendary soothsayer and prophetess Mother Shipton (c. 1488 – 1561), born Ursula Southeil, wife of Toby Shipton. According to legend she was born in the cave. The cave and dropping well, together with other attractions, remain open to visitors.

Brighton / Spring 2014

We visit Brighton quite often as it is a place where we met and had nice time 🙂

I love the beach, atmosphere and architecture of this city.

Let me show you my best documentary shots ever 😉

The Royal Pavilion is an exotic palace in the centre of Brighton with a colourful history. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV, this historic house mixes Regency grandeur with the visual style of India and China.
