Akershus Castle in Oslo

Akershus Castle is the last place we managed to visit in Oslo in February 🙂

It is a medieval castle from around 1300AD. It has been remodelled to a renaissaence castle in the first half of the 17th century. Castle’s splendid halls are used by the Goverment for State events, whereas chapel and the Royal Mausoleum are open to the public, and of course we have been there too XD.

Admission: 70NOK
